ROMAN CLAY POT
IMPORTANT
1. Clay pot should be used only in oven.
2. Do not place a hot clay pot on a cold or cool surface as it will crack. So when taking a hot pot out of the oven, always place on a wood or heat resistant trivet or potholder.
3. After every use clean the pot with warm water, without detergents. After washing, make sure the pot is thoroughly dry before storing it. Let it dry for at least 24 hours and then stored it without covering.
DO NOT FORGET!
Always soak the pot in cool water for 20 minutes before using it. Never put a clay pot in a preheated oven because it will crack from the shock of the heat.
MEMENTO
1.In this clay pot you can cook very tasty food.
2.Food prepared in the oven does not need to be controlled too often.
3.Food cooks in its own juice.
4.Clay pot cooking does not require added fats.
The product does not contain any harmful substances for population health according to the certificate issued by the National Research & Development Institute for Food Bioresources- IBA Bucharest - Romania.
In accordance with the Certificate of Quality issued by the Ministry of Health under no. 2061/1997, the vessel comply with health standards no. 708/1/91 and No 3281/75. This product was also certified by the Health and Consumer Protection in Geneva, Switzerland, with the number of analysis: AN-06/20.031, after which we received the approval for use in food preparation.

A lot of finds from the former territory of Dacia show us the roman art of cooking and their eating habits.
In the course of excavations a great variety of eating vessels were found. They were made of baked clay without glaze. This was a specific piece of pottery also called "terra sigillata" or the porcelain of the ancient times. It was made very good quality clay, had thin lustrous surface and was dark red colored. It was used as baking, cooking and eating vessel. These pieces of pottery were made in various forms: plates, bowls in different sizes, pitchers, glasses, cups etc.
The vessel made of clay lives its renaissance again in today's modern lifestyle which was brought back from its 2000 years perspective through people's claim to healthy nutrition and their nostalgia for ancient tastes."
